Guru Inside Us !

Yes !.

What I just wrote above didn’t make a sense when I first read this quote somewhere.

I realized this quotes actual meaning and deepness, when I attend first live session of ‘Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’ today.

Before attending his session, I already had many preconceptions and Realization like:

Regarding Followers:

1. All gurus preach god-god, but as I seen from childhood onwards that many people gather in a herd of thousands to just hear what their guru says in each visit to their city or town. BUT unfortunately I hardly met anyone who listens and understand what their guru said in each session.

2. So after each session, some people remembers what their guruji said, just to preach in their circles. They still don’t get how to do, what has been preached.

Regarding Guruji:

As in last 20 years from childhood onwards, I made a visit as a naive follower at some of the popular gurujis of my time as:

1. Firstly, I make annual trip to Guruji ‘Radha Soami’ each year and every time along with my family to listen same things and each time try to understand that God is inside us, then why we search outside. And from his recent preaching, I remember : if you don’t sit straight to meditate name of god in your young age, then how can you postpone it to your retirement days, when you  can’t even sit straight due to various health issues resulted from your current lifestyle.

2. Secondly, today I made my first trip to ‘sri sri Ravi Shankar ji’, and truly say I liked him, not because he is preaching the same stuff to meet lord via inside us, but because of his spiritual way to resolve any issue presented in front of him. He started his session by light standing yoga to wakeup people from early morning sleepy eyes.  Later after few Lord Ganpati and Lord Shiva bhajans, his close followers who are also its local subordinates in our town, thrown some problem questions in front of guruji to learn the spiritual way he will use to answer each question.

I remember some of them where :

A. My marriage has been 7-year-old and as the family size grown much that I can’t look after each family member , so please guide me ?

— guruji said : you don’t get what you can’t handle, whatever happens is for your growth, so please do whatever you can and never ever complain about yourself as  if you are incapable of this. Human has more powers than any science can capture, so rely on your internal self which is a particle of that divine lord and push your limits in this limited lifetime only. There never exist Good Tomorrow, if you can’t see goodness in Today.

B. Every Now and then I hear my some neighbor changed their Religion from Hindu to Christianity or some other religion in greed of some extra cash. Is our religion loosing its edge ?

—Guruji said: religion is made to take care of people and help them progress as a tribal community existed long back in your ancestors time

So those who leave some religion, they are blank followers, they didn’t studied the richness of Hindu religion yet, so they say it can’t help me . So its important to realize why our ancestors never left this religion, not because they don’t have choice.  Even they have same lucrative offers from other religion preachers existed then . So please ignore if they can’t understand now, they are putting their children’s religion and spiritual well-being in  dilemma.

And those who don’t know , for their information Lord Jesus stayed in India for 12 long years to learn Indian spiritual knowledge for spreading in western world and then as the time passed, after the sacrifice of Jesus, Christian religion was established by his followers.

However all religion are best in their place, but please don’t manipulate your ancestors religion choice and the future of your children’s.

1. Why do you we have so many Lords in Hindu Religion ?

– Guruji said: You can make many delicious food items like samosa, sevaye, Roti etc from same Flour.

So do I need to say any more ?   :).

Hence Ultimately I can say, I remember following main quotes with example from his 2 hour session in my town:

1. Knowledge + Love, is essential to enjoy spirituality , as you can only enjoy TV, when you experience sound and visuals at the same time.
2. Body is a Temple of Soul. Keep it clean, so that you can clearly reach to your soul by surpassing your Internal Layering present before that soul.
3. You have  your Best Friend inside you, to whom you didn’t yet sent any Friend Request. Did you ?

Duplicate Town

I’m Lucky !

Not Because I got great computer engineering degree or got a good MNC Job.

I feel lucky, that I grown-up in a town where entrepreneurship is family ritual which most local young people follow in the name of ‘Dad’s Business’.

As those local guys in business experience various ups-and-downs of their family business in day today life, they sometimes consider guys like me as Lucky as I get ‘Saturday, Sunday’ as weekly off from my regular Day Job.

But I tell you, as I’m in touch with internet portals like facebook, LinkedIn and some  more, I regularly experience that there is hype of entrepreneurship , which mostly seems to be from USA side, as their job market is currently volatile and most blog post says most entrepreneurs are emerging from USA or London (I read somewhere, but  I don’t remember where ?).

Sorry,  I gone too far from the Header of this post.

Basically, from Duplicate I mean my town where you get everything under the name of some Big Brand in unauthorized way.  Not because  that Local Business manufacturing house makes same copies of those Big brands which are famous in country.

Its because they can’t sell their original production in some new name(Brand) of their own.

So in order to earn livelihood in this competitive world, they depend on big brands in not right way.

So it’s obvious , once their production goes in same hands of consumer who once used the Original Brand things, they would complain of difference and curse the cheater town.

Hence as most of original things from my town are sold under Big Brand names, but with little minuses, it resulted it to be titled as “Duplicate Town”.

And whenever some Branded thing breaks or perform worse, people will usually say “Is it from that USA town !”.

So even though today in 2012, quality of products manufactured in my town are close to quality of those Big Brands, as all Big brands bring their production from china, so my town people also make great things from Chinese material resulting in lower product cost, which ultimately delivers value for money to customer, but due to lack Trustful Brand name and government support, no name like those Big Brands has aroused from this town.

In Today’s Urban life, when most people buy Branded things from  Shopping malls, my town people still prefer  to Buy from Local Market, because they get Quality as well as Trust.

So, even Local Market things are Good, but they are not yet making trust relation with broader audience of other towns or cities.

Hence in this case, an Establishment of Brand name needed , which will plays a role of representing the quality of work  that are delivered from my town.

Along with that a strong work required to build trust among broader public to convince that Local Products are close to your preferred International Brands.

Ultimately, it will help us to duplicate the same trust and domestic growth in every town which my town is experiencing , not the products.

So, I feel Lucky to born in these times, when so much is remaining to be done.

However in case you are curious, my town is called ‘USA’ at some place nearby.  It stands for  (Ulhasnagar Sindhi Association).

Recently I brought an Non-fiction “I have a Dream-Rashmi bansal”,about the Social Entrepreneurs.

In order to explore what this Social Entrepreneurship is all about,I directly jumped across book pages to read case-study regarding DesiCrew-a Rural BPO.

So,to make most of that reading Time and to recall the same later,I extracted some of the Rural Business management strategies,which worked and those which not.

Sharing is Caring

In this world of competition,every one of us is busy in Rat Race,from which some have got few seconds to read this.
Its not about writing Big Big well thought quotes for just preaching others,its about incorporating that thoughts in your life.
I’m a witness of great number of stolen great thoughts scattered around on mine as well as my friends Facebook walls,most of them actually have tons of meaningful thinking behind them,but are mostly consumed as a light air .

I just took one of those thought written on my friends Facebook wall,it was “Sharing Is Caring”

This three word thought drives the whole human race from apes to present sophisticated ape.
I don’t go much in deep,If I took this topic from various perspective,it would take at least one data center to store that information. So I try to brief about its role from a geek’s perspective.

I have the first case,where this thought perfectly blends is the Open-source Revolution,where the branded developers given their work and time for free to their descendent generation and it’s still continuing ,starting from crowdsourcing coding to Social coding. Apart from software fraternity,this concept is also getting popular in other engineering fields.
Today even big MNC like Microsoft copies open-source systems Architecture to get best in the market for free. Its a fact,I heard from one of the Microsoft contractual employee.

So although even Big steals open-source concepts,but it doesn’t hurt much to open-source contributors,because there ultimate aim is to give back something to humanity,before leaving this earth. And they also know whatever valuable resources or knowledge they have,more useful for today,because tomorrow will be new knowledge based on todays conceptual pillars. That’s why I feel proud to be part of this knowledge Industry.

Actual aim of writing above paragraphs is make us understand that,we must share our experience’s,knowledge or whatever of whatever type,today people don’t shy of sharing their personals in the form of porn.
So why do we hesitate to share what we know,whether it may be an idea or tools or anything,because we all have same working brains,some work today,some will tomorrow. So whatever happens,our each one’s execution of idea differs not the base idea,which differentiates Facebook from myspace.

In my previous post,I shared some tips which worked for me in my job search,although I was selfish that I shared them after trying,for which I apologize,but now I realize that was childish,however I learned something in that way and I was worried about hiding resources,in the process of job search,I found every job seeker has same resources,only thing differs is their usage of that resource at right time and at right place.

This above text may sound crap to some,BUt who cares,I shared What I wanted to,It was not written,to be read by many,it’s just a realization,which everyone will have some or the other time and I have just documented it,for later reference to keep me remember,that I will share my experience’s,as “Experienced is another name given to Mistakes”, so me as well as others can learn from it.
And I took a resolution for year 2012,that I will share some of the Helpful Experience’s and Loose some weight also.

Un-Placed to Placed

Sharing my  job search experience in this last post of the year along with the ways which worked for me. Describing the ways I employed to get placed at a nice MNC company to learn more.In TSEC.engg.college , I was just a below average guy,who got very low final aggregate percentage.

This low scorecard,was insufficient to get me ,even to first step of recruitment i.e. aptitude test. Due to which I missed to sit for companies like: Infosys,L& T infotech,Delloite,Morgan stanley, Tech Mahindra,Blue star infotech.
Although I got low scorecard,I got opportunity to sit for companies like:Accenture india, Vistaar,Oracle finance,Quinnox,Zycus infotech,Atidan,Tresvista,Vistex,Alphaplus tech,Citius tech,Microworld softwares,Rheal soft,Hostway,E-emphasis tech,Baysquare tech,Systenics tech,Zeus learning, and Capgemini india.

After attempting around 20 companies,in some I reached till their 2nd round of technical interviews,however in most of the initial attempts I got filtered out in aptitude tests.Then comes the dawn,I got selected into one of the MNC,after which I got most comments from friends as “Set hai Boss !”.

While attempting those so many companies to get recruited,once I got fedup and purchased one web domain also in order to have a start of my own web business as I was once a part time web enthusiast. So whatever happens I never stop analyzing alternative ways to learn more by never stopping journey.

Now let’s get to the point, how I got so many chances to sit for good brand companies.
Most of the initial 2-3 companies,my campus allowed me to sit for them.
But due to only few campus chances and still remained unplaced after that,I employed following methods :

(0).Get Certifications:-
After I finished my 4 yrs college,whichever company I visit for walk in’s,I was not getting any preference,as I had nothing to prove them that I know this or that thing well. So,in order to get eligible for that preference,I chose a single line,whether it will be database’s or development like java or .net. So I opted to go for certification in Oracle database,which was the primary reason I think I got to select in which stream of industry I want to go. without that,I may be thrown into testing,networking,or any other stream,in which I won’t be liking in start.So I suggest,Go for certification in whatever you like,whether it may be DAtabases,Robotics,or programming,just to get some tangible proof that you are not a Blank Kid in the market.

(1). Built a short professional Resume:-
Although I tried many nice projects during my four years of BE college,but I mentioned only two projects of different type and as said in IT industry,”even experience people have 1 page resume”,so how can I even extend my resume more than Two pages as a Fresher. And rest all things you can see in attached resume,that I mentioned only few main skills,in which I proved something or certified them.

(2).submit resume on career portals:-
I submitted my resume on specific career portal sites of about 57 MNC companies along with that I already uploaded an updated resume on various job sites like naukri.com,monsterindia.com,shine.com,freshersworld.com etc. Just to increase the probability of myself getting placed.

(3). Have a phone call:-
I tried calling various HR dept of MNC companies,where they usually ignore calls from students. So my call starts as ” hello,its demla from TSEC engg college,basically I need some HR enquiries”. So after this statement,one of the HR comes on the call by assuming that college authority has called.
So then say what you want to ask.

(4). Get some reference touch:-
I tried to accumulate contacts of various nearby relatives,who may be in touch with any of the industry guy indirectly. So I spoke with them,about what I need,so they asked to send my resumes to them,so that they can forward my resume to their known peers or friends,who are in industry for sometime,in the process I got in touch with some of the nice professionals,who indirectly helped me achieve required skills which are actually useful in industry. But I don’t,I have received any direct help,it just works in chains,you don’t know who in the chain will be part of your professional network later.
So just learn from whatever comes.

(5). JOin various social Networking JOb Groups:-
I joined various JOb seekers Facebook groups,and followed some Twitter posters also regarding any new job opportunity info. They really help in evaluating whether to attempt or not particular job opportunity,as some of the opportunities are just fake and mostly are relevant to types of members of that groups. And MAking HR as the Connection On LinkedIn.com doesn’t help much,I know this from my friends experience.

(6). Start working at Small:-
while trying above methods,I assisted in small startup also,to get in touch of some work.So try to get at least an internship to utilize your time till you get placed.Don’t hesitate to work for small,if you wish to work for Big.

Even After Trying all above ways along with digital profile on various professional networking sites like LinkedIn,SiliconIndia etc.
I got placed 3-4months after I finished my 4 years of college.
ANd I also Realized that,”whatever happens,It happens for a reason”,that is to teach me some essential needed in journey ahead.
And Forget what negative People say,they are just the audience,you are the Lead Actor in the Play.Never lose your flavor,as I also maintained my Engineer flavor in Step numbers which start with zero(0) similar to an Array of programming.

SO,I learnt great thing in this process,which I know will be useful at every step in my journey,that : NEVER Give Up,search for alternatives till arrived at Desired level.
As Even Einstein said once “Trying Same thing,expecting Different results each time”,will not work.

Bird’s View from MounTrek

In order to get Birds view of Mumbra Town in maharahtra,india.

I tried to get on top of a highest mountain in that area,which was just 1850ft high. 

THis was not the first time I visited that mountain,its just that this time I got new experiences,

which I never had before,like feeling sick in mid of trekking,not because I was actually sick,

its just the dehydration occurred in mid,as atmosphere temperature was near 32 degree celsius

in the afternoon. From two weeks,I was asking my friends to get ready and go for this,

however every time,some or the other things downturn this trek plan. so this time,

I carried on this trek alone,just to feel heat of afternoon sun,as for so many days

I had not tried anything which felt challenging as that of mount climbing alone,that’s what I feel.I don’t write much,

and I also don’t know,how to write nice paragraphs,as I’m still learning english by blogging.

so lets list out what I shot during this mountain trek.
